ON THE RUN
F/W ‘26 COLLECTION
INSPIRATION CHART
DESCRIPTION
On The Run is a Fall/Winter 2026 fashion collection developed as part of my master's course at Istituto Marangoni, where I pushed my creative and technical boundaries. This project was an exploration of casual tailoring, reimagining traditional structures with modern design. I challenged myself to experiment with new silhouettes, blending sharp construction with fluid movement to create pieces that feel both refined and effortless. Through this process, I deepened my understanding of garment design, material interplay, and the evolving relationship between comfort and sophistication in contemporary fashion.
CONCEPT
On The Run is a collection that narrates the story of escape, disguise and freedom. The inspiration stems from revealing the fleeting moments of a life in motion- slipping through shadows, emerging into light. This collection explores the tension between concealment and exposure, the risk of taking a chance, and the acceptance of leaving everything behind.
The concept of disguise is incorporated through layered outerwear and distorted proportions. The influence of freedom is shown through roomy silhouettes, pleats and fluid shapes. Textured, hand-made prints depict adaptability and examines the capability to transform and evolve.
This collection is a story of identity and individuality, designed for those who live unbound and chase their own path, even as the world tries to catch up.
